IGNOU extends deadline for registration and re-registration to August 31
IGNOU has extended the last date of registration for ODL based and online programmes and re-registration for the July 2021 session.

NEW DELHI: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline for registration to open and distance learning (ODL) based and online programmes for the July 2021 session to August 31. The candidates can apply through online admission portal for ODL programmes - ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
“The fresh applicant is required to create new registration and submit all the details and choose the programme he/she wants to pursue. The applicant should read the instructions carefully while submitting the application,” a statement from IGNOU said.
The last date for re-registration to the programmes has also been extended by the university to August 31, as per the statement.
The university offers programmes in various disciplines at masters’ degrees, degrees, bachelors’ degrees, pg diploma and diploma, pg certificate, and certificate programmes, and appreciation/awareness level, the IGNOU statement said.
Earlier, the university had decided the last date for registration and re-registration to be August 16. However, it announced the extension of the deadline today. IGNOU started admissions 2021 for the July session on June 11.
Recently, IGNOU launched PG Diploma programmes in digital media, sustainability science and PG course in information security and entrepreneurship for the July 2021 session.
