IGNOU extends registration deadline for ODL, online programmes to October 11

NEW DELHI: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date of fresh admissions to Online Distance Learning (ODL) and online programmes for the July 2021 session to October 11. However, the deadline has not been extended for certificate courses.

The interested candidates can apply through Online Admission Portal for ODL programmes: ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in .

IGNOU offers various UG, PG, diploma, certificate, advanced diploma and dppctoral level programmes through distance learning mode.

Steps to fill IGNOU registration form 2021

• Visit the official website of IGNOU (ignou.ac.in)
• Go to the “Register Online” section and click on “Fresh Admission”
• Now, you need to click on the “Click here for new registration” tab.
• Fill up the students registration form by entering the required information.
• Upload the required documents and pay the application fee.
• Download and keep a hard copy of the duly filled registration form.

Recently, IGNOU launched an AICTE-approved Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme. The university said that the programme aims to provide inclusive quality education and that it is completely restructured based on the industry-academia needs.

The duration of the MBA programme is 2 years and can go up to a maximum of four years. It offers five different specializations - human resource management, financial management, marketing management, operations management and services management.

IGNOU also launched an alumni portal and a Facebook pagefor its alumni. To register on the alumni portal one has to enter their enrollment details such as college, department, name, programme, year of passing, enrollment number, contact information and email ID.

Earlier, IGNOU launched PG Diploma programmes in digital media, sustainability science and PG course in information security and entrepreneurship for the July 2021 session.
