IGNOU January 2025 re-registration window opens at ignou.samarth.edu.in; documents required
IGNOU Registration 2025: Students will be able to complete IGNOU January 2025 re-registration till January 31.

NEW DELHI: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has commenced the re-registration process for its January 2025 session from today, December 2. Students will be able to complete the IGNOU January 2025 re-registration through the official website, ignou.samarth.edu.in.
As per the schedule, eligible students will be able to complete IGNOU January 2025 re-registration till January 31. This process is important for students enrolled in various Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online programmes at the university.
"The Re-registration for the January, 2025 session for all ODL and Online programmes has commenced from 2nd December, 2024 to 31st January, 2025 https://ignou.samarth.edu.in/index.php/site/login", IGNOU said on X.
"Candidates will need to register on the Portal. Please click ‘New Registration’ button to proceed. Please provide your correct mobile number and e-mail ID, because we shall be able to send you confirmation and other important update only if we have your correct mobile number and e-mail ID. If you have already registered on the portal, you may use your Username and Password to log in,” reads the notification.

Candidates can follow the steps given below to complete IGNOU January 2025 re-registration.
- Visit the official website onlinerr.ignou.ac.in
- Click on the Re-Registration link for the January 2025 session
- Key in your login details and submit
- Fill up the form, pay the fee and click on submit.

In case of any difficulty in registering for IGNOU January 2025 candidates can approach their regional centre for re-setting of their account/updating email ID or mobile number.
Candidates must carry the documents given below for IGNOU January 2025 Re-registration:
- Valid Email ID
- Mobile Number
- Enrollment Number
- Previous Semester/Year Marksheet (if applicable)
- Category Certificate (if applicable)
- Photograph (recent passport size)
- Signature (scanned copy)
- Identity Proof (Aadhaar card, Voter ID, etc)
