IGNOU has extended the July 2026 fresh admission deadline for ODL and online programmes, except semester-based and certificate courses.
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date to submit applications for the July 2026 admission cycle to October 13, 2026. The IGNOU July 2026 admission last date extension applies to candidates seeking admissions through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online modes, except semester-based and certificate programmes.
The IGNOU July 2026 admission process was released on May 25, 2026. Candidates applying for ODL courses can apply through the IGNOU admission portal at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in, while those who applying for online courses can access the apply link at ignouiop.samarth.edu.in.
