IGNOU PhD 2021 entrance exam result declared on ignou.nta.ac.in; steps to check

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) PhD entrance exam result 2022 today, April 2, 2022. Candidates can visit the official website ignou.nta.ac.in to check their scores.

Around 18,687 candidates registered for IGNOU PhD entrance exam 2021-22 including 7,612 general candidates, 4,881 OBC, NCL, 2,649 SC, 1,036 ST, 2,216 general PwD and 293 PwD candidates. Of the total candidates who registered for the exam, only 9,196 appeared.

How to check IGNOU PhD result 2022

• Go to the official website - ignou.nta.ac.in.
• Click on the link “IGNOU PhD 2021-22 scorecard” available on the homepage.
• Candidates will be redirected to another page. Now, login application number and password or date of birth.
• IGNOU PhD result 2022 will be displayed on the screen.
• Download the result and take a printout for future reference.

NTA released the provisional answer key for IGNOU PhD entrance exam 2021 on March 7 and candidates were able to raise objections till March 9.

NTA conducted the IGNOU PhD 2021 entrance exam on February 24, 2022 in 30 cities across the country in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

“In order to make the examination system transparent, the Question Paper and recorded responses were displayed for the verification by examinees. Challenges received were verified by the experts and results were processed as per the answer keys finalized by experts,” said an official notice from NTA.

Over 661 jammers in each shift were installed to prevent cheating using mobile network and other electronic devices. 114 Observers were deployed for the smooth conduct of IGNOU PhD 2021 entrance exam, the Agency said.

Recently, IGNOU started announcing the IGNOU December TEE 2021 result or term end exam result 2021 at ignou.ac.in. The students who have appeared in the December 2021 TEE can check the IGNOU result through their enrolment number.
