“Admissions to all listed programmes will be conducted through a common application process. The candidates are not required to submit individual applications for each programme,” according to an official press release.

Candidates must note that admissions to the programmes at IIIT-B will not be conducted through JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority).

The UG and PG programmes are designed to combine rigorous academic learning with research exposure and industry engagement, the institute said.

“The BTech programme enables students to build strong foundations while gaining deep specialization knowledge through the honours option or broadening their academic exposure by pursuing a minor in a related area,” it added.

The 5-year Integrated MTech programme is designed to allow students to specialize in dual areas, with the first eight semesters focused on academic coursework, followed by opportunities to undertake project work or pursue coursework aligned with higher studies.

Chandrashekar Ramanathan, dean (academics), IIIT Bangalore, said: “Our programmes are designed to equip students with deep technical expertise, interdisciplinary exposure, and a strong problem-solving mindset. We look forward to welcoming the next generation of learners who aspire to contribute meaningfully to the future of technology and digital transformation.”
