IIIT Delhi releases M.Tech admission 2026 merit list, round 1 seat allotment at iiitd.ac.in

IIIT Delhi has published the M.Tech 2026 merit list and round 1 seat allocation for CSE, ECE, CB and CSE-research programmes
Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Delhi has released the M.Tech. admission 2026 merit list and round 1 seat allocation (CSE, CSE-Research, ECE & CB) on the official website of IIIT Delhi at iiitd.ac.in.
The online application process began on March 16, 2026, while the online open house was held on March 27, 2026. Candidates were allowed to submit their applications until April 13, 2026. The admit cards for CSE and CSE-Research entrance examinations, along with interview calls for ECE (Non-GATE and CB candidates), were released on April 20, 2026.
The PGCAT-IIITD examination for CSE and CSE-Research was conducted on May 3, 2026. Online interviews for Non-GATE ECE candidates and GATE CSE-Research candidates were tentatively scheduled for May 7, 2026, while hybrid interviews for CB candidates were also held on the same day.

M.Tech. Admission 2026: How to access merit list and round 1 seat allocation?
To access the merit list and round 1 seat allocation candidates need to follow the steps given below:
- Visit the official website of IIIT Delhi at iiitd.ac.in
- On the homepage, click on the ‘Admission’ option and from the drop down menu select M.Tech
- Scroll down to bottom, students will find the links for the merit list and round 1 seat allocation
- The list will appear on the screen
- Download the merit list and round 1 seat allocation and take a printout for further reference

The seat allocation notice reads, “Candidates who have applied under reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS) or sub-categories (PwD/CW) must ensure that they bring their valid category/sub-category certificates at the time of physical document verification.”
“Candidates belonging to OBC-NCL and EWS categories are required to submit certificates issued for the current financial year. Failure to produce valid and applicable documents during verification may lead to cancellation of the admission offer,” further reads.
