IIM Ahmedabad Admission 2027: MBA selection process
Earlier, IIM Ahmedabad used normalized application rating (AR) plus normalised overall score in CAT. However, from this year onwards, IIMA will use normalised AR score and normalised overall percentile in CAT 2026 for MBA admissions.
The formula to calculate the normalised AR percentile is given below.
|
Raw Composite Score = 0.35* Normalized application rating + 0.65 * (Normalized total percentile obtained in CAT-2026/100) |
The addition of the two scores, that is, 35% of the normalized AR + 65% of the CAT total percentile, provides the applicant’s raw composite score. The raw composite score is normalised within the applicant's undergraduate field of study.
