IIM Ahmedabad's Flagship Management Festival Goes Virtual

NEW DELHI - The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, is geared up to host its flagship management symposium "The Red Brick Summit" on 24th & 25th October 2020 in its all-new virtual avatar. The 2-day event has seen participation from 70,000+ students globally and will be hosting prominent business leaders from different walks of life.
"COVID-19 has not dampened our spirits. While there might be some unfortunate drawbacks with the virtual mode, there are many additional untapped opportunities for us to look into. TRBS has a vibrant legacy that provides a potent forum for country-wide dialogue and furtherance of business thought. This year, the festival has seen participation from 320+ colleges, with participation from globally renowned institutions like UCLA, National University of Singapore, SDA Bocconi School of Management, and other who will help elevate the summit to an even higher stature. It is set to host 14 speakers, 22 competitions, and 18 workshops.

Some of the prominent speakers gracing the event include industry stalwarts such as Sir Martin Sorrell, Founder & Executive Chairman, S4 Capital Plc, Zarin Daruwala, CEO, Standard Chartered Bank, Ashok Ramachandran, CEO, Schindler India, Mukesh Bansal, Co-Founder, Myntra & Cure.fit, Shiv Khera, author of the international bestseller "You Can Win," Sanjeev Bikhchandani, Founder, InfoEdge, and Honorable Justice Indu Malhotra, to name a few.
Workshops @ TRBS 2020
To provide an insight into real-time businesses to all the participants, the fest is hosting 18 workshops across multiple domains like supply chain, AI, financial modelling and many more in collaboration with leading industry players. These include "Marketing Over the Years" with PepsiCo, "The Art of Creating Successful Brands" with Ogilvy, "Market Research in Uncertain Times" with Nielsen, "Product Management 101" with Amazon, "Supply Chain Initiatives During Covid-19" with Amul, "Lean Six Sigma" with KPMG, "Analytics in Supply Chain" with CII, "AI/ML in Business Strategy" with American Express, among the many. These workshops will be conducted virtually, and certificates will be given to all the attendees.

The competitions at TRBS invite some of the brightest minds to prove their mettle while being tested extensively through business simulations, case studies, stock pitches, B-plan pitches, etc. The summit will host 22 flagship events, catering to a multitude of fields like consulting, marketing, finance, operations, entrepreneurship, and several other domains. Winners stand to win 12 lakhs worth of prizes.
