Use NowNEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad will close the CAT 2021 registration window on September 15, which is next week. Candidates who wish to appear for the IIM CAT exam must register themselves before the last date on CAT official website, iimcat.ac.in. It is most unlikely that the CAT registration 2021 last date will be extended.
Once the
CAT registration
window closes, IIMA will open the correction facility where candidates will be able to edit only some of the details in the submitted form. Hence, the applicants are advised to fill the CAT application form carefully. CAT admit card will be issued to registered candidates on October 27, 2021. Common Aptitude Test (CAT) is scheduled to be held on November 28, 2021, in a computer-based mode in three shifts.

Revised CAT eligibility criteria 2021
This year IIM Ahmedabad, the conducting body of exam has revised the CAT exam eligibility. As per the revised CAT 2021 eligibility criteria, candidates whose graduation or second-year bachelors’ degree exam scores have not been released can mention “pass/promotion” in the CAT application form. This relaxation is for CAT 2021 only mainly due to the COVID-19 crisis.

Register to generate unique user ID and password

Log in with the generated user ID and password to fill in the online CAT exam form.

Fill relevant personal, academic, and other details in CAT application form

Upload scanned signature and a passport size photograph

Select IIM courses and campuses you wish to apply for.

Select CAT test cities as per your preference.

Pay the CAT registration fees to complete the process

About CAT 2021
CAT is a national-level management entrance examination that will be conducted this year at over 425 test centres in 158 cities across India. The CAT exam duration will be two hours and the question paper will have 76 questions in total. The test will be conducted keeping in consideration the COVID-19 guidelines such as social distancing, wearing of face mask, gloves and staggered entry at the test centres. For CAT 2020, about 2.30 lakh applications were received and the total number of candidates who took the test was 1.90 lakh.
