The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad, will close the registration window for CAT 2021 today, September 15. Candidates can register for the Common Admission Test (CAT 2021) at the official website iimcat.ac.in till 5 pm. Before beginning to fill the

IIM Ahmedabad is going to conduct CAT 2021 on November 28, 2021, in the online mode in three sessions at over 420 test centres in 159 cities across the country. To complete the process of application for the CAT entrance examination, candidates need to pay the CAT registration fees of Rs 2200 for the general category and Rs 1100 for the reserved category.

Eligibility criteria for CAT 2021
IIM Ahmedabad has modified and brought in some relaxations in the eligibility criteria of CAT 2021 .

The candidates who successfully completed a bachelor’s degree with 50% of aggregated marks/ equivalent CGPA (45% for SC/ ST/ PwD) are eligible to apply for the CAT exam 2021.

Final year students are also eligible to fill the CAT exam registration form.

For 2020-21 passed out students - Bachelor’s degree holders can enter the “promotion/ pass” option instead of “award of marks” certificates.

There is no age restriction to fill the CAT application form 2021.

Steps to fill the CAT Application Form 2021
The candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria for CAT 2021 can refer to the following steps to fill the application form of CAT 2021:

Step 1: Visit the official website of CAT 2021 - iimcat.ac.in

Step 2: Find and click the link “New Candidate Registration” provided on the right middle of the home page of the CAT official website.

Step 3: Next, the candidate needs to enter the required personal information (such as Name, Email ID, Phone number) to create the CAT 2021 login credentials.

Step 4: Then, click on the tab: “Generate OTP”. The OTP will be sent to the registered email ID

Step 5: After that, the candidate needs to log in to the dashboard using the CAT login credentials (CAT application number and password/ date of birth) and fill the application form of CAT 2021 with the requisite details.

Step 6: Upload all the documents needed for CAT registration 2021 in a prescribed format and size.

Step 7: Then, select any six preferred CAT test cities.

Step 8: At last, the candidate needs to make a payment of the CAT registration fees in online mode using any payment gateway and submit the completed application form of CAT 2021.

What after CAT 2021 registration
CAT application form correction window
Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad will open the CAT application form correction window tentatively from the third week of September 2021 and it will close within two days. Mistakes in scanned images of signatures, photographs, or other documents can be modified during the period of the CAT 2021 correction window.
Also, candidates can make changes to the CAT test city option. Those interested should log in and adjust the images as needed.
CAT admit card 2021
IIM Ahmedabad will release the CAT 2021 admit card in online mode on October 27, 2021, at 5 PM. Registered students will be able to download a CAT admit card by entering CAT login credentials. On the day of the CAT examination, it is mandatory to carry an IIM CAT admit card along with original ID proof.

The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a computer-based test conducted every year to provide admission in the graduate management programmes in the premier institutes of India such as IIMs, FMS, MDI, IITs, SPJIMR, etc. CAT tests the abilities of the candidates in the three sections, namely, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, and Quantitative Ability.
