IIM Kozhikode placement records Rs 69.3 lakh per annum highest salary offer

IIM Kozhikode witnesses final placement process for the MBA in business leadership programme with an average salary of Rs 29 lakh per annum.
NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) has witnessed the final placement process for the MBA in business leadership programme with the highest salary offered to be Rs 69.3 lakh per annum. IIM Kozhikode students grabbed offers with an average salary of Rs 29 lakh per annum, which marks an increase of 20.1 percent compared to the previous year placements, claims IIMK. The median salary secured by the IIMK students is Rs 25 lakh per annum.
The IIM Kozhikode placement process for the MBA in business leadership witnessed participation from 52 companies. The students were offered about 62 job opportunities by these companies, among which one was an international offer. Female students secured an average salary of Rs 30.41 lakh per annum.

Among the 62 offers, about 42 percent came from the consulting sector with recruiters like Accenture Strategy, Accenture Technology, Bain and Company, IBM consulting, Cognizant, Infosys consulting, The Math Company, and Zinnov making the offers.Around 22 percent of the offers came from the information technology and analytics sector. Publicis Sapient , Searce, Gramener , Reliance Jio, HashedIn, Quantiphi, Visualise AI among others were the top recruiters from this sector.
More than 25 percent of the offers were made for the roles of general management and operations, while 7 percent of the were offered for the sales and marketing roles and 3 percent for finance roles.
