IIM Lucknow opens admissions for BS in AI, Business Analytics; selection via JEE Advanced score

IIM Lucknow UG Admissions 2026: Eligible candidates can apply for BS in AI and Business Analytics programme through the official website at iiml.ac.in by July 3.
The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM Lucknow) has opened applications for admission to its Bachelor of Science (BS) in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Business Analytics programme. The course is designed to develop future-ready professionals equipped to lead in an AI-driven job market.
Eligible candidates can apply for the Undergraduate (UG) programme in Artificial Intelligence and Business Analytics through the official website at iiml.ac.in by July 3.
As per the eligibility criteria, those who have completed their Class 12 exam in 2025 or 2026 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects are eligible to apply.
Notably, candidates should also have qualified JEE Advanced . There are only 60 seats in the BS programme .
IIM Lucknow Admissions 2026: Dual degree option, selection process
“Candidates will be selected based on their academic performance and JEE Advanced qualifying score. It is notable that a relaxation of 5% marks shall be applicable for candidates belonging to SC, ST categories as per the Government of India norms,” IIM Lucknow said in an official notification.
The institute will announce the first list of admission on July 10, second list on July 23 and third list on August 3.
Those selected will have to report to their institute on August 17. IIM Lucknow will begin the classes for BS in AI and Business Analytics on August 18.
Candidates enrolled in the BS AI and Business Analytics programme, will have an opportunity to transition to the Tech-MBA programme, scheduled to commence in 2027-28 after completing the third year of the course, the institute said.
This will enable eligible students to convert their studies into an integrated dual-degree programme at IIM Lucknow.

On successfully completing the BS course, candidates will have an opportunity to pursue a wide range of career paths across technology, consulting, financial services, e-commerce, healthcare, manufacturing, and public-sector organisations, among others.
