IIM Raipur invites applications for 4-year PhD in Management Research; apply by May 10
IIM Raipur will provide a monthly stipend of Rs 50,000 to PhD scholars for the first two years and Rs 55,000 from the third year.

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur, has invited applications for its four-year PhD programme 2025 in management research. The management institute will commence the classes for the PhD programme from June 22.
Candidates can apply for the course through the official website at admission.iimraipur.edu.in/admission/phd_application before May 10. The PhD programme is a fully-funded programme which aims at training scholars in the field of management research and education, the institute said.
Explaining the objective of the programme, Ram Kumar Kakani, director, IIM Raipur, said: “Our institute is devoted to fostering a research-driven academic environment that empowers scholars to push the boundaries of knowledge and innovation. Our Ph.D. program provides a robust platform for aspiring researchers to engage in high-quality, impactful studies that contribute to both academia and industry. I extend an invitation to all those who seek to shape the future of management thought and practice.”
The PhD programme will offer research scope in various fields such as economics and public policy, finance and accounts, HRM and organisation behavior, humanities and liberal arts including business communication, information systems, marketing, operations and quantitative techniques, and strategy and entrepreneurship.

IIM Raipur PhD 2025: Eligibility, financial aid
Candidates having a valid score of GATE, GRE, GMAT, JRF (UGC, CSIR), UGC NET, and CAT from July 1, 2023, onwards and a masters, PGP from IIMs or equivalent with at least 55% marks are eligible to apply for the programme.
Furthermore, applicants with CA, ICWA and a degree, CS with BCom with minimum 60% marks can also apply. Candidates with a 4-year BE, BTech, BArch degree with at least 6.5 CGPA or a 5-year integrated master’s certificate with minimum 60% marks are also eligible to apply for the PhD course at IIM Raipur.
The institute will also provide a monthly stipend of Rs 50,000 to PhD scholars for the first two years and Rs 55,000 from the third year. The programme also includes a grant of Rs 2,00,000 for national and international conferences. The candidates will also receive a “continency grant and one-time support of Rs 50,000 for research-related resources, the institute said.
