IIM Shillong signs pact with five institutes from Europe, Africa, North America

NEW DELHI : The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Shillong signs an agreement with leading institutions from Europe, Africa, and North America. The partnership aims to foster international collaboration in management education, research, and cultural exchange.
The agreement is signed between five institutions, including POLIMI Graduate School of Management, Italy; IE Business School, Spain; Westsächsische Hochschule Zwickau University of Applied Sciences Zwickau, Germany; University of Johannesburg, South Africa; and recently, one with Laurentian University, Canada.
“IIM Shillong has further strengthened its global academic footprint by signing five new international memorandam of understanding (MoUs) with leading institutions from Europe, Africa, and North America. These partnerships mark a significant step in the institute’s commitment to fostering international collaboration in management education, research, and cultural exchange,” the IIM Shillong statement said.
IIM Shillong agreement with international institutes
According to the IIM Shillong statement, the agreement will facilitate collaborative initiates which includes student and faculty exchange programmes, joint research projects, development of dual degree immersion programmes, joint research projects and development of dual-degree immersion programmes.
“By creating global learning opportunities, IIM Shillong continues to position itself as a hub for academic excellence, equipping students and scholars with a truly international perspective,” the IIM Shillong statement adds.
The IIM Shillong agreement aims to build strong global academic partnerships to ensure that both students and faculty benefit from world-class research opportunities, cross-cultural interactions, and a diverse learning environment.
“The institute has consistently expanded its international partnerships, reaffirming its commitment to academic innovation and excellence,” the IIM Shillong statement adds.
