IIM Udaipur records 100% placement with highest salary at Rs 35 lakh

IIM Udaipur Placements: IIMU MBA 2022 batch witnessed 100 percent placement with an average annual salary of Rs 17.5 lakh
NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Udaipur's final placement process for its MBA course graduating in April 2022 witnessed 100 percent placement with an average annual salary of Rs 17.5 lakh. The highest salary offered was Rs. 35 lakh per annum, said a statement from IIM Udaipur. The MBA batch consisting of 310 students is the institute’s largest batch to date.
During the IIMU placement , the top 25 percent of the MBA batch got an average salary of Rs. 25 lakh per annum, and the top 50 percent for Rs 21 lakh per annum as average salary. The average salary of the top 10 percent was Rs 31.46 lakh per annum, claims IIM Udaipur.

As per the statement, in the previous year, the average salary offered at IIM Udaipur placement was Rs 13.42 lakh per annum. The institute claims that there has been a 31 percent increase in the average salary and a 20 percent increase in the median salary offered.
“Pre-Placement offers through summer internships rose by 22%, indicating a growing acceptance by the industry of IIMU student talent, evaluated through the summer projects and allied performance at work,” said the statement.

More than 75 Companies offered job opportunities to IIM Udaipur MBA 2022 batch students during this placement season. The highest number of offers came from the consulting sector followed by technology, banking and financial services, and consumer goods and durables. Among the offers, four students got international offers.
Companies such as Accenture Strategy, Amazon, Amul, Axis Bank, Bajaj Auto, BNY Mellon, Capgemini, Cisco, Cognizant, Flipkart, General Electric, HDFC Bank, Allcargo, Asian Paints, American Express, Bain, BenQ, Bosch, Brane, Centrum, Crompton Greaves, HashedIn by Deloitte, EXL, HSBC, IBM, Innover among others recruited students from IIM Udaipur.
