IIMC Admission 2020: Application form released for PGD courses; check details

NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Mass Communication has released the application form of IIMC 2020 in online mode at iimc.nic.in. Candidates can submit the application form till August 28. The authorities have released the application form for PG Diploma in advertising and public relations, radio and television journalism, hindi journalism, english journalism. Before filling the IIMC admission form, candidates must meet the required eligibility criteria of IIMC entrance exam. After final submission, the applicant will get a Unique Registration Number (URN). candidates can either print it or note it down and keep it safe for future use.
Before filing the IIMC admission form, candidates must have the following with them i.e, scanned copies of two passport size colour photographs and signature, all relevant educational certificates (Matriculation, +2, Bachelor’s Mark sheets), character certificate, age certificate, caste certificate, and Statement of Purpose in written describing why she/he wants to join the course.
To be able to fill the application form of IIMC 2020, applicants will have to provide various details while filling the application form including personal and academic details, upload candidate’s photograph and signature (online mode).
While filling the IIMC application form 2020, candidates also have to pay the registration fee. For the General/OBC category, the registration fee is Rs. 1000. For SC/ST, the registration fee is Rs. 750. Candidates can pay the registration fee for IIMC admission 2020 Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking.
Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) has decided to do away with the entrance examination for the academic year 2020-21. Admissions to all the eight postgraduate diploma courses at the IIMC will be offered based on marks in the qualifying examination, including 12th and 10th and an online interview. The decision has been taken by the institute’s officials in view of the worsening situation of COVID 19 in many regions and after many parents raised their concerns about the need to travel to the exam centres for taking the test.
