IISC Bangalore announces a PG advanced certification programme in micro and nanoelectronics for semiconductor and VLSI professionals.

NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore and TalentSprint announce postgraduate advanced certification programme in micro and nanoelectronics. This IISc PG programme is also open for professionals and engineers. Interested candidates can apply at- iisc.talentsprint.com/nanotechnology.

The programme is designed for semiconductor and very-large-scale integration (VLSI) professionals, or professionals to have in-depth semiconductor knowledge to interface with any electronics industry. The curriculum has been designed by the IISC Bangalore, department of electronics systems engineering (DESE), MSDLabs and offers industry-oriented training to professionals curated by experts in the field of nanotechnology and semiconductors.

The course instructors consist of a team led Mayank Shrivastava along with researchers and experts from the MSDLabs. The curriculum aims to help participants to gain industry-oriented knowledge into every aspect of semiconductor technology, VLSI design basics and micro and nanoelectronics.

Speaking about the programme, IISc Bangalore, programme director, said: “The field of Micro and Nanoelectronics is the enabler of next-generation semiconductor technologies which is the heart of today’s faster, sleeker, light weight and energy efficient systems. This is also the backbone of upcoming neuromorphic and quantum technologies. Keeping the immense potential of this ever-growing field in mind, this is the right time for professionals to gain a deep insight into designing, modeling, characterizing, and developing semiconductor technology and tap into the promising opportunities that this sector offers. Soon semiconductor sector will be a trillion-dollar industry and one must not miss this opportunity.”
