Rs 645 crore HEFA loan
CSR funding has expanded in the last 6 years. Many Centre of Excellence within the campus are supported by CSR. This is a recent trend and expanding. IIT Delhi has made significant use of the Rs 645 crore loan from the Higher Education Financing Agency (HEFA), with over Rs 200 crore allocated to advanced equipment, post-doctoral fellowships, and enhancing research infrastructure.

"While HEFA funding has been invaluable, we have received more than 60% of the budget, but we need more to continue our growth and meet future demands."
