IIT (ISM) Dhanbad to call students on campus in phased manner by first week of March

IIT(ISM) Dhanbad administration has decided to allow all students in campus except undergraduate students admitted through JEE Advanced 2021.
NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) known as IIT (ISM) Dhanbad has decided to reopen the campus for offline classes in a phased manner with COVID-19 protocols in place, the institute announced on social media. IIT Dhanbad administration okayed reopening of campus for all students except undergraduate students admitted through Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Advanced 2021.

Students will be called to campus in a phased manner by the first week of March. The institute has asked students to follow COVID-19 protocols and safety measures.
“Finally, Campus #reopens for all students. Off late, the administration has given its nod to welcome all students in the campus, except the undergraduate students registered through JEE Advanced (2021),” IIT (ISM) Dhanbad tweeted.

IIT (ISM) Dhanbad added, “Phase wise entry of students in the campus will be completed by the first week of March, 2022. All students are requested to kindly abide by the Covid-19 protocols and general guidelines instituted by the administration.”
IIT Kharagpur and the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST) Shibpur have also decided to recall students to campus, the Telegraph India reported.

While IIEST Shibpur has allowed entry of third and fourth year students from tomorrow, February 16, IIT Kharagpur will resume the process of calling students back to campus from March, as per the report.
