The admission processes of the Joint Admission test for Masters 2023 (JAM 2023) commenced on September 6. Earlier, the last date to apply for JAM was October 12. Candidates must satisfy the eligibility requirements and minimum educational qualifications of the respective academic programme to be eligible for the JAM 2023.
Candidates are first required to register themselves by providing information such as name, email address, contact number, etc. After this, candidates have to proceed to fill out the remaining field in the application form and pay the application fee.
JAM 2023 will be held in online mode on February 12, 2023 as a computer-based test. The exam will be conducted in seven different subjects i.e. biotechnology (BT), chemistry (CY), economics (EN), geology (GG), mathematical statistics (MS), mathematics (MA), and physics (PH). A candidate can appear in either one or two tests, only if the tests are not scheduled in the same session.

The scores obtained in the JAM 2023 can be used for admissions to all the participating institutes in programmes such as M.Sc., M.Sc. (Tech), M.Sc.- M.Tech. Dual Degree, MS (R), Joint M.Sc. - Ph.D., M.Sc. - Ph.D. Dual Degree, and Integrated Ph.D.
