IIT Ropar invites application for summer internship for international students till April 2

International students who are pursuing the UG and PG degrees in Indian HEIs can apply for the IIT Ropar summer internship programme.
NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology Ropar is accepting applications for IIT Ropar summer internship programme for international students pursuing bachelor’s or masters degree in an Indian higher education institute. Eligible students can apply for the summer internship programme of the official website, iitrpr.ac.in, till April 2.
As per the notification, the selected students will be paid a stipend of Rs 8,000 per month. The summer internship programme will be held for two months from May 15 to July 15. Along with the stipend, the IIT Ropar will provide accommodation at its hostels on payment basis. The mess charges will have to be borne by the interns.
The IIT Ropar said the application will have to be submitted through the web portal only. “Offline and applications through emails and those after the deadline will not be entertained,” the IIT Ropar said. The institute will inform the selected candidates through emails only. Final list of such selected interns shall also be displayed on the official website’s ‘International Relations Office webpage’.

Students can follow these steps to apply for the IIT Ropar’s summer internship progarmme
- Visit the official website, studyinindia.gov.in/ and click on the ‘student portal’ link
- Create your user Id and login to your account
- Fill up your basic and academic information
- Click on Choice filling and choose your appropriate area
- Following this, select Indian Institute of Technology Ropar, Rupnagar, Punjab and then click on apply button and submit your application.
