Use NowNEW DELHI: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has rescheduled the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET). The new INI CET July 2021 exam date is July 22. AIIMS has also announced the dates of re-filling the online city choice, INI CET admit card release date, last date of uploading the relevant documents and declaration of result. The exam was originally scheduled for June 16.
The INI CET 2021 July session will be conducted for admission to 817 seats in Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), Doctor of Medicine (DM) and Master of Chirurgiae (MCh) courses. These seats are in some of the best medical colleges in the country.
Supreme Court and INI CET
The INI CET 2021 was rescheduled on the order of the Supreme Court of India. A group of aspirants had challenged the schedule issued by AIIMS Delhi in late May arguing the late announcement left them little time to prepare and that many of the examinees were still engaged in COVID-duty . SC directed AIIMS Delhi to postpone the PG entrance exam by at least a month .
