IP University introduces BSc MTR, BSc MIT from 2020 session

NEW DELHI: IP University has launched two new programmes called BSc Medical Technology Radiotherapy and BSc Medical Imaging Technology on October 29. The admission to these two programmes has started and will continue till November 12, 2020. Candidates must submit the offline application form for the admission to the programmes before or on November 12.

The admission to these two programmes will be conducted on the basis of marks scored by candidates in Common Entrance Tests (CETs). The university will start offering both newly launched programmes from the current academic session.
Eligibility
To apply for admission in BSc Medical Technology Radiotherapy and BSc Medical Imaging Technology, candidates must have passed class 10+2 or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
However in case of BSc Medical Technology Radiotherapy, candidates who have completed Diploma in Radiotherapy Technology with a minimum 50% aggregate and have an experience of 5 years in the field of Radiotherapy are also eligible for admission.
The 3 year programme of BSc Medical Technology Radiotherapy will be available at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre, Rohini. Whereas, BSc Medical Imaging Technology programme is available at Holy Family Hospital, Okhala.
The total number of seats available in BSc Medical Technology Radiotherapy and BSc Medical Imaging Technology programme is 4 and 15, respectively.
