IPU CET 2021: IP University has postponed dates for BTech, BPharma, BA English programmes
NEW DELHI: The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has decided to postpone the Common Entrance Test (CET) for BTech (engineering), BPharma (pharmacy) and BA English .
The press release said the exams were postponed for the convenience of the applicants of these programmes and to avoid clashing dates with the National Entrance cum Eligibility Test (NEET 2021). The revised dates for these entrance exams will be notified at a later date. NEET UG 2021 is scheduled for September 12.
Earlier the exams were scheduled to be held on September 12. The revised dates for these exams can be checked on the official website.
Recently, IP University conducted the entrance exams for BJMC, B Ed, and BCA on August 28 in three shifts and the entrance exam for BCom was conducted on August 29.
Admission in IP University colleges for programmes such as BCA, BJMC, B.A, M.A, B.Sc, M.Sc, BHMCT and M.Tech and B.Tech (Biotech) is done based on the ranks scored in the Common Entrance Test (CET) and for the rest of the programmes, the admission is done through Non-CET (Merit based).
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University conducts the IP University CET 2021 to enroll candidates to its various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University (JNTU), Hyderabad will conduct TS EAMCET 2018 in online mode for the first time. In a telephonic conversation with Careers360, officials of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) have confirmed that the entrance test will be held in online mode from this year. Apart from changing the mode of the state level engineering entrance test, the exam conducting authority has announced new dates for the exam. As per the new schedule, TS EAMCET 2018 will be held from May 2 to May 7, 2018. Earlier, the entrance test was slated to be held from May 2 to 5. This means that the entrance test has been given 2 more days than the dates announced earlier. Aspiring candidates can now appear in the entrance test in a window of 6 days.
