"All Indian Nationals who are in Tehran and not in touch with the Embassy are requested to contact the Embassy of India in Tehran immediately and provide their Location and Contact numbers," the embassy said in its X post.
The Embassy of India in Tehran has issued an advisory for Indian nationals to relocate to a safer place amid the escalating conflict between Iran and Israel. The directive comes after Iran launched retaliatory strikes on Israel after the missile attack launched by the latter on Friday.
The Jammu and Kashmir Students Association (JKSA) said that a total of 110 Indian students, including 90 from the Kashmir valley have reached Armenia by crossing the border amid the ongoing military tension.
“The claim by some media outlets that only seven students have been evacuated is unverified and incorrect,” the association added.
"All Indian Nationals who are in Tehran and not in touch with the Embassy are requested to contact the Embassy of India in Tehran immediately and provide their Location and Contact numbers. Kindly contact: +989010144557; +989128109115; +989128109109," as per a post by the Embassy of India in Tehran in its official X account.
