Use NowNEW DELHI : A CAT 2024 result notice is circulating on social media which claims that the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta has declared the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 results today, December 19. However, the CAT result link 2024 is yet to be made available on the official website, iimcat.ac.in. CAT results 2024 live .

“CAT 2024 results have been declared on Thursday, December 19, 2024. Candidates can now download their official CAT 2024 scorecards by logging into the CAT 2024 website (https://iimcat.ac.in), using the CAT application login id and password,” reads the press release.
As per the apparently fake CAT result 2024 notification, 14 candidates have once again scored the perfect 100 percentile while 29 have secured 99.99 percentile. Contrary to last year, one female candidate is among the CAT 2024 toppers.
"86 non-IIM institutions will also use CAT 2024 scores this year for admission into their management programmes. The details of the non-IIM institutions that are registered with CAT 2024 can be found at the CAT 2024 website. Candidates are advised to check the CAT website to ensure the institutions being applied to with the CAT score are registered with the CAT 2024 centre," it added.
CAT exam 2024 was held on November 24 in three different slots. Around 2.93 lakh candidates appeared for the exam out of 3.29 lakh who registered. The overall attendance of CAT 2024 has been recorded at 89%. Of the 2.93 lakh candidates who appeared for the exam, 1.07 lakh are female candidates, 1.86 lakh are male candidates and five are transgender candidates.
