The University of Delhi (UoD) has started the registration for admission to its Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) 2026 on the official website at itep.uod.ac.on. Interested candidates can register for the ITEP 2026 for admission to four-year integrated programmes by August 2.

Notably, admission to the four-year integrated programme ITEP 2026 will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the National Common Entrance Test (NCET), conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
Candidates who have passed Class 12 from any recognised board are eligible to apply for the ITEP 2026, as per the minimum eligibility criteria.

Unreserved (UR), Other Backward Classes - Non Creamy Layer (OBC NCL), Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates should have to pay Rs 250 as application fee for the ITEP 2026.
The registration charges for the Schedule Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) candidates is Rs 100.
Notably, those appearing in the qualifying examination or whose results are awaited, are also eligible to apply for ITEP 2026. However, they must fulfil the Minimum Eligibility Criteria at the time of admission,
Candidates must note that only the scores obtained in NCET will be considered for admissions to ITEP programmes at Delhi University for the academic year 2026-27.
The NTA will make the merit list on the basis of scores obtained in the NCET 2026 test paper as per the requirement of the specific programme, the notification read.
The ITEP is a four-year integrated B.Ed programme with a dual-major bachelor’s degree in education as well as a specialised subject such as language, history, music, maths, computer science, and many more.
“Beyond the teaching of cutting-edge pedagogy, the teacher education will include a grounding in sociology, history, science, psychology, early childhood care and education, foundational literacy and numeracy, knowledge of India and its values/ethos/art/traditions, and more, according to the official notification.
The programme will qualify student-teachers for teaching children in classes 6 to 12. It also allows multiple entry-exit and re-entry options. Candidates who will complete the ITEP course will be awarded a dual-major bachelor’s degree BA B.Ed or BSc B.Ed.
In addition, student-teachers who wish to pursue higher education will also be eligible for master’s degree programmes in education as well as in the major disciplines after the completion of the course..
