Candidates can fill and lock their preferences for JAC Chandigarh round 2 counselling till July 17. The seat allotment result is on July 18
The Joint Admission Committee (JAC) Chandigarh has commenced the round 2 counselling process for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes for the 2026-27 academic session. Eligible candidates can now complete the JAC Chandigarh choice filling and locking process from July 15 to 17, 2026, through the official counselling website at jacchd.admissions.nic.in.
Candidates who are participating in round 2 of JAC Chandigarh counselling 2026 are advised to carefully check and arrange their preferred institutes and programmes before the last date. The JAC Chandigarh seat allotment result 2026 for round 2 will be based on the choices filled by the candidates, merit rank and seat availability.
As per the counselling schedule, the JAC Chandigarh round 2 seat allotment result 2026 will be announced on July 18, 2026. To confirm their admission, candidates allotted a seat in round 2 will have to pay the admission fee and submit their willingness between July 18 and 20, 2026.

Those who do not wish to continue with the JAC Chandigarh 2026 counselling process after receiving a seat in round 2 will be allowed to withdraw their admission on July 21, 2026.

Candidates participating in round 2 of JAC Chandigarh counselling 2026 can follow the steps mentioned below to complete the choice-filling and locking process.
- Visit the official JAC Chandigarh counselling website at jacchd.admissions.nic.in.
- Click on the "Round 2 choice filling and locking" link available on the candidate activity section.
- On the next page, log in using your application number and password.
- Once logged in, check the list of participating institutes and available BTech/BE programmes.
- Add, delete, or rearrange your choices in the order of your preference.
- Click on "Lock choices" after finalising your preferences.
- Confirm the locking process when prompted.
- Download and save a copy or printout of the locked choices for future reference.
Candidates are advised to complete all counselling-related formalities within the specified deadlines to avoid cancellation of their allotted seat.
