JEE advanced 2021 brochure released; Know new changes

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur has released the official JEE advanced brochure 2021 online on the website. The JEE advanced 2021 dates mentioned in the brochure have been postponed and a new date will be announced in due course.

Earlier, the authorities have announced that the JEE advanced exam 2021 which was scheduled to be held on July 3, 2021 stands postponed. Go through the changes made in the JEE advanced 2021 exam centres, eligibility criteria below.

• Valsad, Gujarat

• Bhuj, Gujarat

• Bagalkot, Karnataka

• Dhule, Maharashtra

• Sangamner, Maharashtra

• Balasore, Orissa

• Jeypore, Orissa

• Burdwan, West Bengal

The following are the exam cities removed from the list,

• Vapi, Gujarat

• Himatnagar, Gujarat

• Gulbarga, Karnataka

• Palghar, Maharashtra

• Raigarh, Chhattisgarh

• Virar, Maharashtra

• Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh

What are the changes in JEE advanced 2021 eligibility criteria?

• Earlier, Ramesh Pokhriyal, the Education Minister has announced the waiver of minimum 75% marks in 12th class from the eligibility criteria .

• The decision to waive minimum qualifying exam marks has been taken due to the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic situation.

IIT Kharagpur will be releasing the revised list of JEE advanced dates 2021 on the official website soon. The authorities conduct the JEE advanced 2021 exam for admissions to the various courses in all the 23 IITs of the country.
