JEE Advanced 2021 registration likely to start today: Know category-wise number of eligible candidates

The IITK JEE Advanced registration 2021 link will be made available on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in. Note that the link for JEE Advanced 2021 registration will be open for a limited time only. The authorities will not accept any applications after the deadline.

The JEE Advanced application 2021 process will consist of three simple steps - filling the registration form, uploading documents, and payment of the registration fee. Note that the candidates will have to use their JEE Main 2021 login id and password to register for the JEE Advanced 2021 exam.
Candidates who wish to apply for the Joint Entrance Examinations Advanced 2021 exam are required to meet the JEE Advanced 2021 eligibility criteria laid down by the authorities. The eligibility criteria has been released along with the JEE Advanced 2021 brochure. Candidates failing to meet any criteria will be disqualified from the admission process.
JEE Advanced 2021 registration: Know category-wise number of eligible candidates
As per the JEE Advanced 2021 eligibility criteria released by the authorities, candidates interested in JEE Advanced 2021 registration must meet five criteria, including performance in JEE Mains.
Aspirants who wish to fill the JEE Advanced 2021 application form must have appeared in the BE/ BTech paper of Joint Entrance Examination Mains 2021 conducted by the National Testing Agency. Also, to be eligible to apply for JEE Advanced 2021, Candidates should be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories) in B.E./B.Tech. Paper of JEE Main 2021.
The percentages of various categories of candidates to be shortlisted are: 10% for GEN-EWS, 27% for OBC-NCL, 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST and the remaining 40.5% is open for all. Within each of these five categories, 5% horizontal reservation is available for PwD candidates.
Students can below check the order to be followed while choosing top 2,50,000 candidates in various categories based on the performance in B.E./B.Tech. paper of JEE Main 2021.
Apart from the performance in JEE Mains 2021, other criteria includes age limit, number of attempts, appearance in Class XII (or equivalent) examination, and earlier admissions at IITs.
