The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has been set up by the Ministry of Education to manage and regulate the joint seat allocation for admissions to 110 institutes. Admission to all the academic programs offered by these Institutes will be made through a single platform.

Last year too, NTA declared the JEE Mains result after a long wait. In 2020, the NTA JEE Main result was delayed due to technical errors. 

Kavya Chopra from Delhi and Pal Aggarwal from Ghaziabad created history by securing Rank 1 in JEE Main 2021. The result of JEE Mains 2021 was announced on September 14, late night. IITK will start the JEE Advanced 2021 registration from today, September 15. Candidates can submit the online JEE Advanced application form 2021 till September20. Candidates who wish to apply for JEE Advanced 2021 exam are advised to check the eligibility criteria carefully. • MCQs- Candidates will be awarded 4 marks for each correct answer and there will be a negative marking of 1 mark on each incorrect answer.

The NTA Director, Vineet Joshi informed that the delay in JEE Main result 2021 declaration has nothing to do with the ongoing CBI investigation in the alleged cheating scandal and that the JEE Main result 2021 session 4 has been delayed due to the staff preparing the NTA results fell sick, as per the India TV report.
