NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati conducted the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2023 today, June 4, 2023. JEE Advanced exam 2023 was held in two shifts – paper 1 was held from 9 am to 12 noon and paper 2 from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

Both paper 1 and paper 2 for JEE Advanced 2023 was for a duration of three hours each. Each question paper included physics, chemistry and mathematics sections.
Candidates were required to carry the JEE Advanced admit card along with a photo ID proof to the examination centre. Besides, candidates could only carry a pen, pencil and a transparent water bottle.
Students were asked to reach the examination centre “well before” the commencement of the exam. The exam centres were closed at 9 am for paper 1 and 2:30 pm for paper 2. According to the JEE Advanced 2023 dress code, candidates were not allowed to wear ornaments, metals, clothes with big buttons.
The JEE Advanced 2023 exam analysis is now available. Candidates will be able to challenge the provisional answer key. JEE Advanced 2023 result will be based on the final answer key.

Mathematics was tricky & difficult as per students. There were tricky and lengthy questions from Vectors and 3D Geometry. There were questions from Functions, Matrices, Ellipse, Statistics & Probability. Some good questions were asked from chapters of Probability, Complex Numbers, 3-D Geometry, Parabola. Students felt this section was the Toughest.

For calculation of the JEE Advanced total marks for five subjects, if the marks awarded in a subject is not out of 100, then the marks will be scaled (up or down) to 100 so that the total aggregate marks is out of 500.
