JEE Advanced 2024 result tomorrow at jeeadv.ac.in; tie breaking policy

NEW DELHI: Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) Madras will announce the result for Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2024 results tomorrow, June 9. As per the schedule, JEE Advanced 2024 result link will be active at 10 am tomorrow. Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as application number and date of birth to check the JEE Advanced 2024 result.

JEE Advanced 2024 result will have candidates' subject-wise marks and overall aggregate of paper 1 and paper 2. The All India ranks (AIR) and the qualifying status will be also mentioned in the IIT JEE Advanced result 2024.

• Click on “IIT JEE Advanced Result 2024 Link”.
• Enter the roll number, date of birth and phone number.
• Click on the “Submit” button.
• The JEE Advanced 2024 result will be displayed on the screen.
• Download and take a printout for further references.

Candidates who will secure minimum qualifying marks in JEE Advanced 2024 will be included in the merit list for JoSAA counselling and IIT admissions.

JEE Advanced 2024 Result: Tie-breaking policy

In case two or more candidates achieve the same aggregate marks, the following tie-break policy will be applied to determine their ranks:

1. Candidates with higher positive marks will receive a higher rank.
2. If the tie persists, the candidate with higher marks in Mathematics will be ranked higher.
3. If the tie still remains, the candidate with higher marks in Physics will be given a higher rank.
4. If the tie is not resolved by these criteria, the candidates will be assigned the same rank.
