Try NowIndian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee conducted the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2026 on May 17. As specified in the information brochure, the next step is the release of the response sheet, which will take place on May 21. IIT will then release the provisional answer key on May 25 and invite objections against it. IIT Roorkee released the JEE Advanced 2026 question papers for Paper 1 (English and Hindi) and Paper 2 (English and Hindi) a few hours after the conclusion of the examination.

JEE Advanced 2026 was rated moderate to difficult overall, with Paper 2 tougher than Paper 1. Students found Mathematics lengthy and tricky, while Physics demanded strong conceptual clarity and intensive calculations. Chemistry emerged as the most scoring section, featuring several direct NCERT-based questions.

How to check JEE Advanced 2026 response sheet?
Response sheet would contain the answers marked by candidate during exam.
- Visit the official JEE Advanced website: jeeadv.ac.in
- On homepage, click on the “JEE Advanced 2026 Response Sheet” link
- Enter your registration number, date of birth, and mobile number/email ID if required
- Submit the details to log in
- Your response sheet will appear on the screen
- Download and save it for future references
Response sheet helps candidates compare their responses with the provisional answer key and estimate their probable scores before the results are announced.
After JEE Advanced results are announced, qualified candidates can participate in the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling process for admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other participating institutes.
