The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee will release the JEE Advanced 2026 provisional answer key tomorrow, May 25. Candidates who appeared in the exam can check the provisional answer key on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in.
Through the JEE advanced provisional answer key students will be able to evaluate their probable scores before the final results.Those who are not satisfied with the answer key can challenge discrepancies in the answer key. The objection facility will remain open from May 25 to May 26 till 5 pm.
Earlier, IIT Roorkee had released the JEE Advanced 2026 response sheet on May 21. Candidates can access it by logging in through the candidate portal using required credentials.

The JEE Advanced 2026 result for admission to BTech programmes at IITs is scheduled to be declared on June 1, along with official qualifying cut-offs.
JEE Advanced 2026 Provisional Answer Key: Steps to check
Candidates can follow the below steps to check JEE Advanced 2026 provisional answer key;
- Visit the official JEE Advanced website at jeeadv.ac.in using any web browser.
- Look for the JEE Advanced 2026 Provisional Answer Key notification under the announcements or latest updates section.
- Choose the relevant answer key link for Paper 1 or Paper 2.
- Log in with your required credentials if the portal asks for verification.
- Open the PDF to check the correct answers against each question ID.
- Download and save the answer key for future reference and score estimation.
JEE Advanced 2026 Provisional Key: How to raise objections
The objection window will open on May 25 at 10 am and close on May 26 at 5 pm. Candidates who find discrepancies in the provisional answer key can submit objections by following the below steps;.
- Visit the JEE Advanced Candidate Portal and log in using your registration number, date of birth, and registered mobile number.
- Click on the Challenge Answer Key or feedback option.
- Select the specific Question ID you want to raise an objection against.
- Upload valid supporting documents in PDF or JPEG format to justify your challenge.
- Pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 500 per question through the online payment system.
Any valid corrections submitted during the objection period will be reflected in the final answer key, which will be released along with the JEE Advanced 2026 results on June 1. Once the final key is published, no further objections or challenges will be entertained.
