There were a total of 75 questions in the exam comprising physics, chemistry and maths sections. Each section had a total of 25 questions which includes 20 Multiple choice questions and 5 numerical based questions. The overall exam difficulty level was moderate. JEE Main September 2020 paper for 2nd shift has concluded at 6 pm. Now, students are coming out of the exam centre and their parents/guardians are waiting for them. Experts will prepare JEE Main exam analysis for 2nd shift in a short time, based on students' reactions and inputs. One person reported on twitter that authorities at exam centre did not allow his younger sister to appear for JEE Main paper today on September 4, 2020, as she was COVID-19 positive in past. He further asked NTA to reschedule exam for aspirants who were barred from appearing for the exam.

NTA allows a student to appear for JEE Main exam for three consecutive years. The exam is conducted twice a year which provides a student two attempts: January session and April session. So the maximum attempts for a student are 6.

Second shift JEE Main 2020 September exam for day 4 has been started at 3 pm and it will be conducted till 6 pm. The exam is being conducted in online mode. There are three sections in the exam: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. 25 questions are asked in each section which comprises 20 MCQs and 5 numerical based questions.

NTA will start JEE Main 2020 shift 2 exam in a short time at 3 pm. Invigilators are providing instructions to students regarding the exam. Students will be able to log in at 3 pm and attempt the paper. The exam will conclude at 6 pm.

As per JEE Main exam schedule 2020, gates of exam centres have been closed at 2:30 pm. Invigilators checked admit card and other items between 2 and 2:30 pm. Now, students will sit at their seats in the JEE examination hall by 2:45 pm. After that, the invigilator will provide all instructions to the students by 2:55 pm. Exam will commence at 3 pm sharp.

As scheduled, Entry in JEE main exam centre has begun for shift 2 students. Exam centres authorities and students are maintaining social distancing and verifying student's admit card, self-declaration form, valid ID proof and other required items, before getting the student in the exam hall.  Invigilators will check the admit cards till 2:30 pm. Thereafter, the gate will be closed and latecomers will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.

Second shift exam will begin at 3 pm for which students are reaching at their respective exam centres. All the SOPs and Social distancing norms are being followed by authorities and students at RD Engineering College Centre, Duhai Ghaziabad, one student shared the images on twitter.

• JEE Main first shift exam was of moderately difficult which had 75 questions in total.
• In section-wise, students found that chemistry was easy, while the difficulty level of maths was moderate.
• Physics was the most difficult section among all three subjects.
• Likewise yesterday, In chemistry most of the questions were asked from NCERT.

The first exam of day 4 September 2020 has been concluded at 12 noon. Now, students are coming out of the exam centre and they are maintaining social distancing. Now, experts will provide JEE Main paper analysis for shift 1 exam based on students' reactions and some coaching institutes may also release 4 September 2020 JEE Mains paper. This JEE 2020 question paper will be a memory based paper.

Due to the shortage in students' attendance in the JEE Main September 2020 exam, it is expected that the cutoff of this session may be decreased. As this year, less number of students will compete for the same number of seats available. A total of 114563 students did not appear for JEE Main 2020 exam in first three days as per official statistics.

1st shift exam of JEE Main 2020 day 4 will end after 15 minutes at 12 noon. The parents/guardians are waiting for their wards at exam centres. Students will come out of the exam centre by maintaining social distancing. Other JEE exam 2020 SOPs are being followed by most of the exam centres.

The Supreme Court of India will hear the review plea regarding JEE Main NEET 2020 postponement today at 1:30 pm. The final SC verdict on NEET will come after the hearing regarding the postponement or conduction as schedule. As of now, the NEET 2020 exam date is September 13, 2020, and the rest will be announced by NTA and SC.

Students need to carry the following things mandatorily while appearing for JEE September 2020 exam:

• Admit card
• JEE Main 2020 self-declaration form
• Passport size photograph
• Vaild ID proof and other required things mentioned in admit card

Chief ministers of the following 6 states filed the plea seeking for JEE Main 2020 and NEET exam postponement:

• West Bengal
• Jharkhand
• Chhattisgarh
• Punjab
• Rajasthan
• Maharashtra

While most had feared their safety during the exam, it has been reported that the COVID SOPs are being followed well at the centres . Sanitizers along with fresh masks are being provided at the centres and proper social distancing is being maintained.

SC hearing on NEET and JEE Main is scheduled for today. Supreme Court of India will hear the review plea of 6 chief ministers regarding JEE and NEET postponement. These 6 CMs belongs to opposition-ruled states. A bench led by Justice Ashok Bhushan will hear the review plea on JEE Main 2020 and NEET exam. After the hearing, SC verdict on NEET and JEE postponement will be announced. Stay tuned to get latest updates on NEET 2020 and JEE exam.

NTA has started the day 4 JEE Main 2020 paper for shift 1 students. The exam has been started at 9 am and it will be continued till 12 noon. Students are appearing in this exam in online mode across 660 centres. Today's exam is being held for B.tech and B.E. students.

JEE Main 2020 exam for the first shift of day 4 is about to begin at 9 am. All students have entered the exam centre and the authorities checked the admit card, self-declaration form and valid ID proof thoroughly with proper social distancing. Other JEE Main SOPs were also followed at most of the exam centres. JEE exam 2020 is held in online mode and it comprises of three sections: Physics, maths and chemistry.

While reporting for the exam, the candidates are expected to follow the dress code for JEE. As per NTA, footwear with thick soles and garments with large buttons will not be allowed. Jewelry and metallic items will also not be allowed inside the exam centre. The dress code will be checked by the authorities at the exam centre.

JEE Main 3rd September examination was successfully conducted for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech). As per various student reactions, JEE Main 3rd September question paper was of moderate difficulty. The questions in Mathematics was tricky and long. Chemistry was comparatively easier and Physics was moderate. At the centres, the COVID SOPs were reported to have been followed well.

The Supreme Court of India will be hearing the review petition today by six chief ministers of the opposition-ruled states regarding JEE Main postponement. A bench led by Justice Ashok Bhushan will be reviewing the plea which was filed in August 28 and dismissed. The plea was regarding the postponement of JEE Main exam.

NTA has specified certain items that would be allowed inside the exam centres. They are

• JEE Main Admit Card with Self Declaration (COVID related Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA website printed on a clear on A4 size paper duly filled in.
• A simple transparent Ball Point Pen
• Additional photograph, to be pasted on attendance sheet
• Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml)
• Personal transparent water bottle

Also know the JEE Main 2020 exam dos and dont's . Adhere to the NTA specified JEE Main dress code .

NTA has issued a self declaration form for COVID which is attached to the JEE Main 2020 admit card. This is a mandatory document/ After the exam is over, students must be drop it in the box provided at the exam centre.

Simple steps to follow for the JEE Main Self Declaration for COVID-19

• Fill in the details as specified
• Paste a colour photograph (same as the JEE Main 2020 application form)
• Get your paret's signature in the box provided for the same
• Next take some blue / black ink and place your left thumb impression (unsmudged)
• DONOT place the signature as that has to be done in the exam centre in front of the invigilator

The JEE Main 2020 attendance statistics was released and shows that around 82 percent students attended the exam on day 3 . The attendance for JEE Main 2020 on day 1 seems to have been more less than the other two days. Overall, the attendance is around 80 percent on an average considering that JEE Main 2020 is the single largest entrance exam and is the entry to 31 NITs, 25 IIITs and 28 GFTIs inddition to being the screening test for JEE Advanced 2020
