NEW DELHI: NTA has concluded the day 4 JEE Main exam. First shift exam's difficulty level was moderate, while the second shift exam was moderate to difficult. Physics section was the most difficult section among all three sections in both shifts. Students share their experience and reaction, which helps other students to have an idea regarding, how was JEE Main paper today. Experts are providing the JEE Main 2020 paper analysis based on students input. SC heard the review plea of JEE NEET postponement at 1:30 pm and took a decision that exam will be conducted as scheduled.

Shift 2 JEE Main analysis 4 September 2020

  • Overall: 75 questions (60 MCQs and 15 numerical based)
    • The exam was quite lengthy and time-consuming
  • Physics: 25 questions (20 MCQs and 5 numerical based)
    • Physics section was tough and time-consuming
    • Concept-based questions were asked and the primary focus was on derivations.
  • Maths: 25 questions (20 MCQs and 5 numerical based)

JEE Main 2020 exam analysis September 4 slot 1

Today's first shift of Joint Entrance Exam was conducted as per JEE Main morning shift timing (9 am to 12 noon). As per JEE Main 2020 analysis 4 September, the physics section was difficult. Here is the overview of JEE Main 2020 question paper analysis for the first shift:

JEE Main 2nd shift analysis - Students' review

Sweta from New Delhi found physics as tough and time-consuming. The difficulty level of Chemistry was moderate as per her analysis shared with us.

NTA allows a student to appear for JEE Main exam for three consecutive years. The exam is conducted twice a year which provides a student two attempts: January session and April session. So the maximum attempts for a student are 6.

JEE Main 2nd shift exam started

Second shift JEE Main 2020 September exam for day 4 has been started at 3 pm and it will be conducted till 6 pm. The exam is being conducted in online mode. NTA will start JEE Main 2020 shift 2 exam in a short time at 3 pm. Invigilators are providing instructions to students regarding the exam. Students will be able to log in at 3 pm and attempt the paper. The exam will conclude at 6 pm.

JEE Main 2020 latest news - Exam centre gates closed

As per JEE Main exam schedule 2020, gates of exam centres have been closed at 2:30 pm. Invigilators checked admit card and other items between 2 and 2:30 pm. Now, students will sit at their seats in the JEE examination hall by 2:45 pm. After that, the invigilator will provide all instructions to the students by 2:55 pm. Exam will commence at 3 pm sharp.

Entry begins for JEE Main paper day 3 shift 2

As scheduled, Entry in JEE main exam centre has begun for shift 2 students. Exam centres authorities and students are maintaining social distancing and verifying student's admit card, self-declaration form, valid ID proof and other required items, before getting the student in the exam hall.  Invigilators will check the admit cards till 2:30 pm.   • In section-wise, students found that chemistry was easy, while the difficulty level of maths was moderate.

Will NEET 2020 be postponed?

The Supreme Court of India will hear the review plea regarding JEE Main NEET 2020 postponement today at 1:30 pm. The final SC verdict on NEET will come after the hearing regarding the postponement or conduction as schedule. As of now, the NEET 2020 exam date is September 13, 2020, and the rest will be announced by NTA and SC.

While reporting for the exam, the candidates are expected to follow the dress code for JEE. As per NTA, footwear with thick soles and garments with large buttons will not be allowed. SC to hear review plea by six states on JEE Main postponement

The Supreme Court of India will be hearing the review petition today by six chief ministers of the opposition-ruled states regarding JEE Main postponement. NTA has specified certain items that would be allowed inside the exam centres. They are

  • JEE Main Admit Card with Self Declaration (COVID related Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA website printed on a clear on A4 size paper duly filled in.
  • A simple transparent Ball Point Pen
  • Additional photograph, to be pasted on attendance sheet
  • Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml)
  • Personal transparent water bottle

JEE Main 2020 COVID Self Declaration/ Undertaking; steps to fill

NTA has issued a self declaration form for COVID which is attached to the JEE Main 2020 admit card. This is a mandatory document/ After the exam is over, students must be drop it in the box provided at the exam centre.

Simple steps to follow for the JEE Main Self Declaration for COVID-19

  • Fill in the details as specified
  • Paste a colour photograph (same as the JEE Main 2020 application form)
  • Get your paret's signature in the box provided for the same
  • Next take some blue / black ink and place your left thumb impression (unsmudged)
  • DONOT place the signature as that has to be done in the exam centre in front of the invigilator

JEE Main 2020 attendance statistics till Day 3

The JEE Main 2020 attendance statistics was released and shows that around 82 percent students attended the exam on day 3 . The attendance for JEE Main 2020 on day 1 seems to have been more less than the other two days. Overall, the attendance is around 80 percent on an average considering that JEE Main 2020 is the single largest entrance exam and is the entry to 31 NITs, 25 IIITs and 28 GFTIs inddition to being the screening test for JEE Advanced 2020
