JEE Main 2021 August 31 Shift 1 begins; Know things to carry and guidelines to follow at exam centre

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started shift 1 of JEE Main 2021 August 31. The JEE Mains 2021 August 31 shift 1 exam will be held for the duration of 3 hours.

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started shift 1 of JEE Main 2021 August 31. The JEE Mains 2021 August 31 shift 1 exam will be held for the duration of 3 hours. The JEE Main 2021 August exam is being conducted at 334 exam cities. Before the commencement of the exam, all the COVID-19 guidelines were followed at the JEE Main exam centre as issued by the NTA.

The Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2021 is being conducted in online mode as a computer-based test. Students are required to follow the JEE Main dress code while appearing for the entrance exam. To be allowed to appear for the JEE Main 2021 exam, students had to carry the IIT JEE hall ticket, along with the self-declaration form and government id.

JEE Main 2021: Things to carry for JEE Main exam

Candidates are allowed to carry the following items inside the JEE Main 2021 exam centre.

  • JEE Main 2021 self-declaration form.

  • Transparent ball-point pen

  • An extra photograph of the candidate

  • A valid ID-proof

  • Transparent bottle

  • Hand sanitiser (50ml)

  • Mask and gloves

JEE Main 2021: Important guidelines

Along with the release of the JEE Main 2021 admit card, the authorities released certain guidelines that students must follow at the exam centre.

  • Students should reach the JEE Main test centre as per reporting time.

  • Candidates must not carry any electronic gadget to the exam hall.

  • Do not forget to drop the JEE Main admit card and self-declaration in the dropbox before leaving the exam hall.

  • All social distancing norms must be followed at all times at JEE Main 2021 exam centre.

NTA is conducting the JEE Main 2021 exam in two shifts daily. The JEE Main 2021 exam timings for shift 2 are 3 PM to 6 PM. The JEE Main 2021 session 4 exam dates are August 26, 27, 31, and September 1 and 2. The authorities have successfully conducted the August 26 and 27 JEE Main 2021 exams.
