Candidates having a score above JEE Main qualifying marks will be eligible to participate in the counselling process conducted by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority).
There is a certain process followed by the authorities to prepare cut-off marks for JEE Mains. The NTA percentile obtained by candidates after normalization will be taken for preparing the cut-off. The following factors are taken into consideration for calculating JEE Main cut-off:
JEE Main2021 difficulty level for each session
Total number of candidates appeared in the exam
Previous year cut-off trends
Number of seats available in a particular institute
JoSAA counselling will be conducted in various rounds for admissions into IITs, IIITs, NITs, GFTIs. The authorities shall release JEE Main cut-off for each course and colleges. The opening and closing ranks within which admissions will be done through JEE Main 2021 shall prove the cut-off marks.
