JEE Main 2023 paper analysis: Candidates analysed the JEE Main paper afternoon session exam as moderate level.

NEW DELHI: The afternoon shift of the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) Btech, BE paper held today, January 29 had a moderate mathematics paper and easy-to-moderate physics and chemistry papers. The second shift was conducted between 3 pm to 6 pm and was held for a total of 300 marks. The paper 1 questions, as per the students’ analysis, were “moderate”. JEE Main January 31 Live Updates

The overall difficulty level of JEE Main paper 1 exam today, as per FIITJEE students, was balanced.

“In terms of order of Difficulty – Maths was Moderate while Physics & Chemistry were Easy to Moderate Level. Overall, this paper was Moderate level as per students,” Ramesh Batlish Head, FIITJEE Noida said.

• Weightage was given to chapters of Algebra and Calculus
• Questions asked from Parabola, Ellipse, Definite Integrals, Area, Differential Equations, Matrices, Probability, Determinants, Vectors, 3D Geometry, Binomial Theorem, Complex numbers, Progression Series
• Both MCQs and Numerical Based questions required lengthy calculations
• This section was Lengthy and Tricky as per few students.

JEE Main 2023: January 29 shift 2 Physics Paper Analysis

• Easy to Moderate level
• Weightage given to chapters of Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Heat and Thermodynamics, SHM and Waves, Current Electricity, Electrostatics, AC Circuits, Modern Physics, Semi-Conductors and Magnetism Numerical based questions were reported as Easy
• This section was balanced but had many tricky questions

JEE Main 2023 Chemistry Paper Analysis January 29 afternoon session

• Easy to Moderate level
• Physical Chemistry was given more weightage in Numerical Section as compared to Organic and Inorganic Chemistry
• Weightage given to Alcohols, Ethers and Phenols, Aryl and Alkyl halides in Organic Chemistry
• Ionic Equilibrium, Mole Concept, Electrochemistry, Chemical Kinetics
• Inorganic Chemistry had questions from s-block, p-block, Chemical Bonding and Metallurgy
