JEE Main 2023 session 1 day 2 exam day guidelines, timings, things to carry

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to conduct the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 session 1 day 2 exam today, January 25, 2023. Candidates who will be appearing in the exam need to bring the JEE Main 2023 admit card and the self-declaration form. Anyone who fails to bring the admit card will not be allowed to enter the exam hall. JEE Main 2023 live updates

Along with carrying the admit card candidates also need to follow the exam day guidelines that are mentioned in the JEE Main admit card. The JEE Main session 1 day 2 exam will be held in two shifts- the morning shift is from 9 am to 12 pm and the afternoon shift is from 3 pm to 6 pm.

JEE Main 2023 session 1 day 2: Exam day guidelines

The NTA has released the JEE Main 2023 exam day guidelines on the admit card. It is necessary for candidates to go through the instructions before the exam begins.

• Candidates are required to follow all of the instructions strictly as instructed by the centre superintendent or invigilators.
• Only according to the schedule, candidates will be allowed entry or exit into or from the JEE Main 2023 exam centre.
• During the exam, any conversation or gesture or disturbance in the examination hall will be deemed as misbehaviour.
• If a candidate is found using unfair means or impersonating, their candidature will be cancelled and they will be liable to be debarred for taking the JEE Main 2023 exam either permanently or for a specified period as per the nature of the offence.
• Candidates wearing any special attire due to religious reasons are advised to reach the exam centres earlier in order to undergo thorough checking and mandatory frisking.
• Pen or pencil and blank paper of rough work will be provided in the exam hall and candidates are required to write their name and roll number at the top of their sheet. This sheet will be returned to the invigilator before leaving the exam hall.
• Candidates will have to drop their admit card and rough sheet in the box after displaying it to the invigilator.

Below are the things that are allowed to carry inside the examination hall.

• JEE Main admit card 2023 clearly printed on A4 size sheets.
• A self-declaration form, undertaking or proforma printed on an A4 size sheet, duly filled.
• Valid photo ID proof.
• Transparent ballpoint pen.
• A copy of the same photograph that was used in the application form to paste on the attendance sheet.
• PwD certificate (if any)
• Documents related to scribes (if any).
• Personal hand sanitiser (50 ml)
• Transparent water bottle.
• Mask and gloves.
• Sugar tablets or whole fruits for candidates who are diabetic.
