NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will commence the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 session 1 exam today, January 22, with paper 1 (BE, BTech). The NTA JEE Mains 2025 session 1 will be held in two shifts – shift 1 from 9 am to 12 noon and shift 2 from 3 pm to 6 pm. Along with the exam-day guidelines, the NTA has informed candidates about the JEE Main 2025 dress code and things to carry. It is mandatory for the students to carry their JEE Main 2025 admit card along with a valid photo ID proof, self-declaration form, and non-Aadhaar declaration. The first session of NTA JEE Mains 2025 is being conducted at various JEE Main exam centres 2025 in 284 cities across the country and 15 cities outside India.
As per JEE Main 2025 exam pattern, the question paper will comprise 75 multiple-choice questions divided into three sections – physics, chemistry, and mathematics – carrying a total of 300 marks. Section A will contain 20 questions on each subject while section B will consist of five questions on each subject.
