The agency has recently updated the JEE Main 2025 official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Based on past trends, JEE Mains 2025 registration is expected to begin from November 1 while JEE Main 2025 session 1 exam is likely to be held in January.

NTA also announced that optional questions will be removed from Section B, which had been introduced as a temporary measure during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The NTA has recently released a notice regarding changes to the JEE exam pattern. For JEE Mains 2025, the exam will return to its pre-COVID format. In the revised pattern, Section B of Paper 1 will consist of 5 mandatory questions, and students will be required to answer all of them. Additionally, the Mathematics sections in Papers 2A and 2B will also no longer include optional questions.
