NEW DELHI: The Joint Entrance Examination - Main (JEE Main 2025) session 1 and session 2 exam dates are awaited. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to start the JEE Main 2025 registration in November for the January session 1 exam tentatively scheduled to take place in the third week of January. Meanwhile, Amrita university and Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) have started the registration for the university-level engineering exams.

In a latest notification, the NTA announced that the JEE Mains 2025 official website is jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Main registration 2025 will begin in “due course of time”, the NTA said, while announcing its decision to remove options from section B . The optional questions in section B were introduced as a one-time measure during the COVID-19 pandemic.
On October 22, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham started the registration process for Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering ( AEEE 2025 ) for admission to BTech programmes offered at its campuses. The AEEE registration 2025 last date is January 7.
MAHE began the Manipal Entrance Test (MET 2025) registration process on October 14. Students who have obtained 50% aggregate marks in physics, mathematics and any one of the optional subjects in Class 12 or A level or IB or equivalent will be eligible to apply for the MET engineering entrance exam.

AEEE 2025 Updates: Educational requirements
Candidates can have a look at the AEEE 2025 eligibility criteria below.
- Candidates are required to pass Class 12 exam from a recognized board.
- Candidates are required to secure minimum 60% aggregate marks in mathematics, physics and chemistry in Class 12.
- Candidates require a minimum of 55% in each of these three subjects: physics, chemistry and mathematics

NTA JEE Mains 2025 Live Updates: Age limit
There is no age limit for candidates appearing in JEE Main 2025. Candidates who have passed their Class 12 or equivalent examination in 2023, 2024 or are appearing in 2025, regardless of their age, are eligible to take the JEE Main 2025 exam.

JEE Mains 2025 Eligibility: Academic requirement
To be eligible for JEE Main 2025, candidates are required to have passed Class 12 in 2023, 2024 or 2025. While there is no minimum percentage required to sit for the exam, candidates are required to secure at least 75% marks in Class 12 to qualify for admission into IITs, NITs, or IIITs.

JEE Mains syllabus 2025
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will publish JEE Main 2025 syllabus in PDF format. JEE Mains 2025 paper 1 will cover topics from Class 11 and 12 physics, chemistry, and mathematics. For paper 2A (BArch), the syllabus includes mathematics, general aptitude, and drawing. On the other hand, JEE Main paper 2B (BPlan) will include mathematics, general aptitude, and topics related to planning.

MET 2025 eligibility for BTech courses
As per the MET 2025 eligibility criteria, candidates are required to have completed Class 12 or an equivalent qualification with physics, mathematics, and English as mandatory subjects. Additionally, candidates are required to have studied chemistry, biotechnology, biology, or any technical vocational subject as an optional subject, achieving a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in physics, mathematics, and one optional subject.
