JEE Main 2026 Answer Key LIVE: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to issue the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) session 2 answer key tomorrow, April 11. The answer key issued will be provisional in nature; therefore, candidates will have the option to raise objections by paying Rs 200 per question. Following the pattern, the challenges made will be reviewed and will be reflected in the final answer key.

NTA JEE Main session 2 exam for 11.23 lakh candidates was conducted across 566 centres in 318 cities between April 2 and April 8. Overall, the session 2 exam was rated 'easy to moderate' with students finding maths challenging.

For BE and BTech paper 1, around 11.06 lakh candidates registered in India and 4,229 abroad. The attendance was about 93%, with around 97% Aadhaar authentication.

For BArch and BPlanning paper 2, about 54,953 candidates registered in India and 270 abroad. The attendance stood at nearly 73%, with around 97% Aadhaar authentication.

The online application process for Session 2 was held from February 1 to February 25, 2026. Following requests from candidates, the application window was reopened on March 12 and 13, 2026. Admit cards were released in phases on March 29 and April 1, 2026.

According to the latest update from NTA, the JEE Mains 2026 answer key is expected to be announced tomorrow, April 10. The agency has not released any official notification regarding the JEE Mains 2026 answer key release time. Candidates will be able to check and download their answer key on the official website.

The JEE Main 2026 Session 2 provisional answer key is likely to be out tomorrow at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can access and download their provisional answer key, response sheet, and question papers by logging in with their application number and date of birth/password.

  • After logging in, the answer key will appear.
  • Click the download button and save the PDF.

What after JEE Mains result 2026?

As notified in the official bulletin, the result will be released by April 20. After the announcement of the results, qualified candidates can participate in JoSAA counselling for admission to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.

Those aiming to take admission at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) must appear for JEE Advanced . Candidates should check their ranks, cut-offs, and eligible colleges before filling in their choices and keep their documents ready for verification. JEE Mains April 2026 Session: BTech cutoffs at NIT Rourkela

According to data from the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), which conducts counselling for BTech admissions, the closing rank for the EE programme at NIT Rourkela was 10,623 for gender-neutral, open category candidates from other states. Among all NITs, NIT Mizoram recorded the lowest closing rank at 51,698. In comparison, among IIITs, IIIT Shibpur had a closing rank of 23,081 for candidates under the 50% other state quota.
