The National Testing Agency (NTA) will hold Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 session 2 exams from tomorrow and will continue till April 8 in two shifts: morning and afternoon. As per the NTA’s guidelines, students must reach the exam centre before the gate closing time along with their admit card, 2 passport photographs, and a valid ID proof. JEE Main 2026 Live Updates

Test-takers who did not register through Aadhaar must reach the JEE Main 2026 exam centre atleast one hour before the gate closing time to get their biometrics recorded.
PwD candidates will be provided with a scribe facility only if they have opted for the facility while filling out the online application form. PwD candidate availing the facility of a scribe will be allowed compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour of the examination.
The testing agency has issued the JEE Main 2026 hall ticket for April 2 to 4 exams, while the admit card for the rest of the exam dates will be issued soon on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. NTA JEE Main 2026 exams will be held on April 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8.

As per the NTA guidelines, there may not be any provision for the safekeeping of students' valuables at the centre. The list of items prohibited and allowed at the JEE Main exam centres 2026 is as follows:
The testing agency has not issued any specific dress code regulations for students appearing for the JEE Main entrance exam 2026. However, students must follow general guidelines when appearing for the exam.
In addition to the biometric attendance and frisking at the time of entry, any candidate who goes for a bio-break or to use the restroom will be required to undergo frisking and biometric verification again upon entry. NTA has advised candidates to drop their duly filled-in JEE hall ticket in the “designated dropbox” while leaving the exam room; failure to do so may result in non-evaluation of your answers.
