The NEET UG cutoff is determined by several factors, including the number of candidates who appeared for the exam, the difficulty level of the exam, and the total number of seats available for admission. These factors collectively influence the minimum qualifying marks required for candidates to secure a seat in medical colleges. A higher number of candidates or a challenging exam can result in a higher cutoff, while a larger number of available seats may lower the required cutoff score.
While there have been several reports on education ministry mulling merger of the three major national exams under 'one nation, one exam' to reduce student stress, the ministry has not officially announced any decision. Thus, medical aspirants will be seeing conduct of NEET 2025 exam for MBBS, BDS admissions.
Here are some of the top medical colleges in India that students often aim for through NEET.
