NEW DELHI:
IIT Delhi started the JEE Advanced registration at jeeadv.nic.in. The top 2,50,000 candidates from JEE Main rank list 2020 will be eligible for appearing in JEE Advanced 2020. Eligible candidates can apply till September 17, 2020. National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main results September 2020 at jeemain.nta.nic.in. JEE Main Topper 2020, Cutoff and Common Merit List
NTA has also released the JEE Main topper list along with the JEE result declaration. JEE Main cutoff and all India rank of candidates (both in common merit list and category rank) is available through JEE Main result.

JEE Advanced Registration 2020 Started @jeeadv.nic.in
Top 2.5 lakh students are eligible to apply for JEE Advanced 2020 in online mode at jeeadv.nic.in. The last date to submit filled JEE Advanced 2020 application form is September 17, 2020 till 5 pm.

JEE Main Cutoff : General Category sees a rise in cutoff
NTA declared the JEE Main cutoff along with the JEE Main 2020 results. The cutoff analysis shows only a increase in the JEE Main cutoff for general category while there is a drop for all the others. This means that many general category candidates attended the exam in comparison.
Students may note that there is a relaxation in the admission criteria for all the JoSAA participating institutes which are 111 this year. JoSAA counselling starts on October 5.

JEE Main result: Relaxed eligibility for NIT and IIIT admissions
This year on account of the COVID pandemic, candidates may note that the Education Minister announced a huge relaxation in terms if eligibility for JoSAA counselling for all IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIS.
What is the relaxed eligibilieyt criteria for admissions?
Any candidate who have qualified in JEE Mains and has passed class 12 is eligible to apply unlike past years when it was mandatory to have at least 75% in their class 12 or be in the top 20 percentile of their respective boards. This particular clause has been done away with.

JEE Main result: Participating institutes
JoSAA website is live now. Candidates can now apply to 88 institutes on the basis of their JEE Main scores. This year 3 more institutes have joined in the counselling process out of which one is an IIIT and the other two are GFTIs. Thus a total of 111 institutes are participating in JoSAA which starts on October 5 with registrations.

JEE Main 2020 result: What next after result?
Candidates who have scored JEE Main cutoff and above can apply for JEE Advanced 2020. Registrations for JEE Advanced start today. The entrance exam is on September 27. Only 2,50,000 candidates who have met the JEE Main 2020 cutoff which was mentioned in the JEE Main result are eligible to appear for the entrance exam for admissions to the 23 IITs.

JEE Main 2020 result: Cutoff analysis
JEE Main cutoff is released by NTA for 2020. The analysis of the JEE cutoff trends show an increase for only the general and OBC categories. all the other categories have shown a decrease in the JEE Main cutoff analysis.

JoSAA 2020 Counselling
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority 2020 (JoSAA) counselling portal has been opened. All JEE Main and JEE Advanced Candidates will have to register for JoSAA 2020 from October 5 for counselling and seat allotment. Admission in all 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 26 IIITs, IIEST Shibpur and 30 GFTIs (Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes) will be through JoSAA 2020.

JEE Result: Eligible candidates can apply for JEE Advanced from September 12
JEE Advanced Registration 2020
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi will start JEE Advanced 2020 registration from September 12. Candidates who score more than JEE Main cutoff and meet the eligibility criteria for JEE Advanced 2020 can register for the exam within specified schedule. JEE Advanced 2020 exam will be conducted on September 27.
