NTA eases JEE Main exam city 2025 selection; here’s how

NEW DELHI : In a relief to the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 aspirants, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has eased the process of selecting JEE Main exam centres 2025 by introducing a new feature. Now, candidates can check the entire list of JEE Main exam cities 2025 during JEE Main 2025 registration at examinationservices.nic.in, and select their preferences accordingly.

JEE Main session 2 registration 2025 for second session exams commenced on February 1 on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The last date to fill the JEE Main application form 2025 is February 25. JEE Mains 2025 session 2 will be conducted between April 1 and April 8.

How to check JEE Main exam city 2025 list?

Here’s how candidates can check JEE Main exam centre list 2025 for session 2 exams while filling the JEE Main session 2 registration form 2025:

  • Go to the official website of JEE Main 2025, jeemain.nta.nic.in
  • Click on “Registration for JEE (Main) 2025 Session-2 is LIVE!” under latest news
  • Now, click on “Registration for JEE(Main) 2025 Session-2” link
  • Candidates will be redirected to another page
  • Under ‘Steps to apply online’ box, click on ‘view examination cities’
  • Select country of residence, state of residence, question paper medium
  • Enter captcha code and press on ‘proceed’ button
  • A list displaying examination state, examination city code, and examination city name will appear on the screen

During the JEE Main registration 2025, applicants will be required to select any four cities of their choice in the order of priority.

For this year’s engineering entrance exam, NTA has reduced the number of JEE Main exam cities 2025 to 284, from last year’s 300. The international exam city count has also been cut from 24 to 14 in JEE Mains 2025.
