NEW DELHI: The education ministry will announce the JEE Main 2021 new exam dates in the next 15 days, as per the Times of India report. The ministry will also hold a high level meeting with vice-chancellors of central universities to discuss conducting the exams. The meeting will also discuss the implementation of the Central University Common Entrance Test (CUCET).

Due to the surge in COVID-19 cases across the country, the National Testing Agency has postponed the release of JEE Main 2021 application form for the April and May sessions. Also, the registration for NEET UG 2021, scheduled to be conducted on August 1, is yet to begin. However, students are continuously demanding postponement of NEET, JEE Main 2021.
After the education ministry cancelled CBSE Class 10th and 12th examinations, many state boards also cancelled the 10th and 12th class exams amid COVID-19 pandemic. After the cancellation of exams, some of the educational boards have announced an assessment criteria to announce the result, while some boards and state governments are mulling over the options.
JEE Main April 2021 was previously scheduled to be conducted on April 27, 28, and 30, whileJEE Main May 2021 date was to be held on May 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28. The NTA will release the JEE Main 2021 application form for the April and May session soon at the official website.
The officials from the Ministry of Education have already made it clear that there is no question of cancelling the exams. The review will be done for JEE Main 2021 and NEET UG exam in upcoming weeks. Applicants preparing for JEE Main 2021 can use this time to prepare well for the exam.
